This Sunday will be the annual Memorial service. Using poetry and prayer, we will honor those who fought in peaceful protests, armed conflict, and acts against injustice. We will also consider what we can actively do in response to gun violence in our country.
Join us on Sunday as we gather to offer prayers for peace and celebrate the graduation of Riley McLean, Trae Griffiths, and James Griffiths. We will also consider Jesus’ parable about taking care of the least of God’s people during Heidi’s reflection, “Goat Grace and Goat Gratitude.”
This Sunday, Pastor Heidi will examine the strange encounter between Jesus’s mother, Mary, and the angel Gabriel. Through Gabriel, God offers Mary a choice. How did she respond?
