As part of the Pridefest celebrations this week, McKinley Foundation is hosting two events.
• This Sunday at 4 PM, join us for a free screening of “Paris is Burning.” This 1990 documentary is “a chronicle of New York’s drag scene in the 1980s, focusing on balls, voguing and the ambitions and dreams of those who gave the era its warmth and vitality.” McKinley Foundation, Westminster Hall (2nd floor)
• Thursday, September 29 from 4:30 to 7 PM, join us in Artists’ Alley for the exhibit opening of “To Survive on This Shore.” Experiencing déjà vu? You’re right! We’re bringing back this popular photography exhibit by popular demand. The show will run through November 18.
