Amasong Spring Concert – “I Sing to Know That Love is Near”

Amasong presents songs of love, comfort, and hope for these difficult times. The spring concert repertoire includes works by contemporary women composers Abbie Betinis, Moira Smiley, and Lisa Young; songs from Japan and Ukraine; folk songs; and the gospel standard “City Called Heaven,” arranged by Josephine Poelinitz. The concert is also featuring guest performers Jessica Ballard-Lawrence and Dr. Alonza Lawrence. Hope to see you there!
