Church Women United will be celebrating World Day of Prayer on Friday, March 1 with a program written during the Covid period by the Women of Palestine. Please join us for their stories from their childhoods and discussion of how the events of the present and tales of the past can help us decide what course God wants us to pursue through this period and into the future. We, as CWU, need to prepare ourselves to “bear with one another in love” ( Ephesians 4: 1-3) and hopefully help lead the way to a more equitable and peaceful world. Please join us at First Presbyterian Church, 602 W. Green St, Urbana. Refreshments will be served at 9:30 am and the program will be 10-12. All are welcome!
