The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Countywide Celebration will take place this Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts (500 s Goodwin Ave., Urbana).
The doors open at 4 pm and the music begins early. McKinley’s Director of Music, Dr. Alonza Lawrence will be one of the music leaders.
The program begins at 5 pm and features a keynote address by Rev. B. J. Tatum, long-time pastor of Urbana’s Canaan Baptist Church. This event is free and open to the public!
