This Big Ten Network documentary unearths four, never-before-seen stories which follow individuals or programs at U of I affected by harsh Cold War politics following WWII. Produced by local filmmaker Tim Hartin (husband of Foundation board member Cindy Shepherd), the film received an Emmy from the midwest chapter. Of particular note is that all of the recreated scenes were filmed at the McKinley Foundation while the offices were closed during Covid. You might recognize many of the backdrops! The film is free on YouTube and is only 25 minutes long. Check it out via this link!
