McKinley Foundation’s Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser is back! This year, 100% of proceeds will support student outreach and ministry in the form of free Friday night dinners for food insecure students at the University of Illinois.
In the spirit of good fun and to celebrate Pride month, a group of flamingo wranglers will quietly deliver flocks of pink flamingo yard ornaments to friends, family, and other locations in the Champaign-Urbana area. These flamingos roost on your lawn for 3 days until they migrate to another person’s lawn. To specify who gets flocked next, fill out this online form or call us and make a donation of any amount to the McKinley Foundation. Of course, the removal of these flamingos will be done at no charge, so please don’t hurt our pink-feathered friends. Flockings will occur September 1 – October 1.
Don’t want flamingos flocking to your yard? Protect yourself by purchasing Anti-Flocking Insurance. To book your flock or purchase anti-flocking insurance, email the Flamingo Hotline (flamingo@mckinleycu.org), call 217-344-0297, or visit our website. Thank you for your good humor and support!
