Inspired by you, the theme of this year’s annual Stewardship Campaign is “Let Light Shine.” Matthew 5:14-16 states:
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your God in heaven.”
You embody this message through your generosity and service. We are so thankful for your support, and we hope that this stewardship season provides a moment to feel proud for how you personally contribute to the mission of McKinley Memorial Presbyterian Church and the light we strive to shine in Champaign Urbana.

As we turn our eyes toward this new year, here are some ways you can actively engage in this campaign:
- Reflect and Engage: Join us after worship on February 18 and 25 to reflect on how we “Let Light Shine” outside the church, inside the church, and through our administration. This will be an opportunity to engage with one another and provide feedback on how we utilized our resources throughout the year.
- Volunteer: Explore opportunities at McKinley to serve on a committee, volunteer at our outreach initiatives such as the Garden Hills Food Pantry or provide a meal in the Share the Care initiative. Your time and skills can contribute significantly to the well-being of others.
- Spread the Light: Share the message of McKinley with friends and neighbors. Encourage them to join worship service or attend our events.
- Pledge: Take a moment to reflect on how your personal contributions helped our community. Consider making a new financial commitment to support our worship service and outreach initiatives. Please submit the online form or return this printed form by March 3, 2024 to assist in our planning efforts.
May our collective efforts illuminate the path of service and generosity, making our community a brighter and more supportive place for everyone.
With gratitude,
Arianna Agramonte Holterman
