The McKinley Foundation’s Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser is back! 100% of proceeds support our campus ministry feeding food insecure students at the University of Illinois. This vital program began last year, and we now regularly feed 30 to 40 students each week.
And because September is Pride month here in Champaign-Urbana, our pink flamingo friends come ready to celebrate, complete with LGBTQ Pride accessories!
How does it work?
A flock of plastic flamingos will roost on your lawn for 3 days until they migrate to another person’s lawn. To specify who gets flocked next, simply fill out the form below and make a donation of at least $25 to the McKinley Foundation.
If you don’t want to flock anyone, do nothing or simply make a donation of any amount and the flock will naturally migrate to its next perch. Flockings take place September 1 – October 1.
Don’t want flamingos flocking to your yard?
Protect yourself by purchasing anti-flocking insurance. Choose this option below under “How would you like to participate” and make a donation of any amount to keep these pesky flamingos off your front lawn!
