Church Business Administrator (part-time)

McKinley Memorial Presbyterian Church seeks a part-time (20 hours/week) Church Business Administrator to oversee ongoing functioning of the Church office. Primary responsibilities include: track donor deposits, prepare regular individual giving statements and thank you letters, work with staff and committee volunteers to maintain calendars and distribute regular financial statements, schedule Church space usage and rental agreements. Ability to occasionally assist with other administrative tasks, weekly publications is a plus. Experience with QuickBooks is highly desired along with familiarity with computers, word processing, and social media technology.
McKinley is located in the center of the University of Illinois campus. The beautiful 100-year old Church is part of a 3 building complex of Church, Foundation and student domicile Presby Hall. McKinley Church has an active social justice program, a vibrant youth and family program, and a terrific choir.
