Throughout its long history, McKinley has been a strong supporter and participant in the arts. The church building, famous for its acoustics and pipe organ, has hosted many student and community recitals and concerts, and is the unofficial home of Amasong. The foundation building houses Artists’ Alley where local and national artists, whether established or aspiring, can showcase their 2-dimensional artwork. Movies at McKinley is another long tradition. In the days before streaming and video stores, McKinley was one of the few places you could see foreign or independent films. Today, our state of the art theatre system with surround sound features documentaries and popular films that explore the state of the human condition.
