- Choir rehearsal: 10 a.m. in the sanctuary.
- Fellowship: 10 a.m. in our basement fellowship space. Join others for treats, drinks, and conversation before worship.
- Worship: 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. The winter solstice happens on Saturday, December 21, at 4:19 p.m. CST. The next morning, McKinley will celebrate with our almost-annual Solstice/Blue Sunday service. For many people the winter holidays can be a sad and or stressful time; on Solstice/Blue Christmas Sunday we focus on the illumination and birth of God in the midst of pain and sorrow. We acknowledge and embrace the darkness and remind ourselves that the light of the sun returns and the love of God is always present.
- For children and youth: Nursery care will be available for children birth through kindergarten during worship. Elementary children will leave worship after the Passing of the Peace for Sunday school.
- After worship: Youth will continue their fair-trade holiday shop in the narthex, then will go to the foundation to check out their new Sunday school room.
