In this week’s Gospel lesson (Luke 4:1-13), Jesus does not choose to enter the wilderness. We usually do not choose our wilderness experiences either. On this First Sunday in Lent, we will consider our wilderness experiences and what sustains us.
This Sunday is a Communion Sunday and we will return to gathering in a circle (socially distanced) for communion. Grapes and bread will continue to be our elements – no shared cup.
