Saturday, April 12
9:30 AM – 1 PM
Join the Student Outreach & Ministry team for a spring hike during peak wildflower season along the Sangamon River floodplain. We will leave from McKinley Foundation, offering rides to those without a car, and gather at Dan Brady’s home in Seymour. Naturalist and artist Lynn Smith will guide the trip that may take up to 90 minutes. We will end up back a Dan’s barn and enjoy boxed lunches and conversations about our observations.
This event is free, but advance registration is required. However, nonstudents are asked to make a $12 donation for their lunch. Registration is limited to the first 20 persons who register.
