On April 18 we will celebrate Shepherd Sunday. In Psalm 23, God leads us beside still waters for rest and refreshment. If you have images of refreshing waters (with or without people) and email them to Pastor Heidi (h-weatherford@mckinley-church.org) by 9 am Saturday, she will use them in Sunday’s worship slides.

Scars and wounds, questions and crises of faith—all are present in the story of Jesus coming to Thomas a week after the resurrection. Join Heidi and members of the McKinley community as they offer prayers of healing and wholeness for ourselves and the world.

Join us this Sunday as We walk to the tomb with the first witnesses and evangelists — who were women! We celebrate God’s love in communion. We receive new members. Beginning around 10:25, we will celebrate God’s power to overcome the evils in our world.

This Sunday is Palm Sunday and Passion Sunday. Members of the McKinley community will read Mark’s story of Jesus’s last week, also known as the Passion according to Mark. The readings will alternate with music performed by McKinley musicians. Join us for this poignant observation of Jesus’s last days.
