The 13th Annual Illinois Interfaith Conference at the University YMCA will feature as keynote speaker New York Times best-selling author Nadia Bolz-Weber. A full schedule and registration information for this free event is available at this link; participants are welcome to attend some or all of the sessions as you are able.
Conference Description: “Religious, spiritual and secular values instruct us to care for and welcome others, whether they be neighbors or strangers. Yet religion has sometimes been used as the divider to turn away neighbors and ignore the humanity of one another. The Illinois Interfaith Conference will explore how we welcome one another into community together, and the ways that our many faiths, sexualities, and identities can bring us closer together.”
All people of religious and non-religious philosophical traditions are welcome. The Illinois Interfaith Conference is co-sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Diversity & Social Justice Education, Illini Hillel, Interfaith in Action, Department of Religion, and the University YMCA.
