This year McKinley will be hosting two Easter morning services!
The Easter Sunrise service will take place at 6:30 a.m. around the McKinley labyrinth on 5th Street. This will be a version of the ancient tradition of the Great Easter Vigil. Scriptures about God’s rescue and liberating acts will be read and favorite Easter songs will be sung. This is a child friendly service lasting between 40-50 minutes, depending on how much singing we enjoy. Please bring a lawn chair and your favorite beverage, dress is very casual and weather appropriate.
It might not be possible to broadcast this service live. If not, we will record it and upload it later that day.
At 10:30 a.m. our Easter Liberation Sunday service will begin in the sanctuary. This intergenerational service will feature the McKinley choir and musicians. Sara McHenry and Heidi Weatherford will tell stories of hope, resurrection, and new life.
Come join us at 10:30 a.m. in person or via our YouTube Channel!
